Skadi - Konjiam Ski Resort

If you live in Southeast Asia like me and you wanna play ski but don't have much money to go to Europe or if you want to feel four seasons (Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter) which Southeast Asia don't have, as my suggestion, Korea is the best choices for you for that reason. Korea has few premier resorts for ski enthusiasts. All areas have rental equipment for every size, beginning to advanced slopes, night skiing, and most also have sledding areas.

For those people in Seoul who want to go skiing in winter, the Konjiam resort is an excellent option. The Konjiam Resort boasts the largest ski slopes in the metropolitan area, with four hundred seventy-six condominium rooms, a spa, golf course and other subsidiary facilities, this is a premium resort complex. Moreover, it is a mere forty minutes away from Seoul’s Gangnam.

With skiing being so popular in Korea, overcrowded ski sloped are sometimes a problem, but the Konjiam Resort has solved this by enforcing by enforcing Korea’s first maximum occupancy rule. Consequently, skiers will no longer experience long waits at the ski lifts and skier safety will be much improved.

The Konjiam Resort has eleven double-width slopes for beginner and intermediate skiers and snowboarders. There are also three ski lifts that take skiers up to the peak of the slopes for a 1.8km length run down the mountain, which is the longest ski-run in the metropolitan area.

As well as great ski facilities, the resort also features an ecological river and has introduced state-of-the-art spa services, setting it apart from the average resort spas.
